Last updated: July 2026

Neuro Assists ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We process your data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Neuro Assists provides coaching and virtual assistant services. For the purposes of data protection law, Neuro Assists is the data controller of the personal information collected through this website.

Neuro Assists is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZC169178.

What data we collect

When you enquire about our services (for example, through our contact form or by booking a free discovery call), we collect:

  • Your full name

  • Your email address

  • Any information you choose to include in your message

When you browse this website, our website provider (Squarespace) may automatically collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This is used for site functionality, security, and analytics. You can read more in Squarespace's Privacy Policy.

How we use your data

We use the information you provide solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry about our services

  • Arrange and follow up on discovery calls or bookings you request

We will not use your data for marketing unless you have specifically asked us to, and we will never sell your data.

Lawful basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests — namely, responding to enquiries you have made to us. Where our contact continues into a coaching or virtual assistant relationship, processing is carried out as necessary for the performance of a contract with you.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own use. Your data may be processed by trusted service providers who help us run the business — for example, Squarespace (website hosting and forms) and Google Workspace (email). These providers act on our instructions and are required to keep your data secure.

Your data may be transferred outside the UK by these providers (for example, to servers in the United States). Where this happens, appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses are in place.

How long we keep your data

We retain personal data from enquiries for no longer than 6 months from the date of your enquiry. After this period, your information is securely deleted. If you become a client, we will keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal obligations, and we will explain our retention practices to you at that point.

Cookies

This website is hosted on Squarespace, which uses essential cookies necessary for the site to function, and may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can manage cookie preferences through the banner on this site or via your browser settings.

How we keep your data secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including secure hosting, password-protected accounts, and limiting access to your information to only those who need it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data

  • Request deletion of your data

  • Object to or restrict our processing of your data

  • Data portability — receive your data in a usable format

  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at neuroassists@gmail.com. We will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first so we can put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):
